Basketball Recap: Palmer Comes Up Short

Palmer was the 43-28 winner over Soldotna when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Palmer Moose fell 48-41 to the Soldotna Stars on Thursday.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Soldotna, they moved to 11-14 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Palmer will face off against Kodiak at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Palmer is facing Kodiak at the right time seeing as Kodiak is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Soldotna, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 73-29 defeat against Wasilla on the 7th.
