Basketball Recap: Chisago Lakes Baptist Comes Up Short

Chisago Lakes Baptist and First Baptist squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Chisago Lakes Baptist had to settle for second. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the First Baptist Crusaders. Chisago Lakes Baptist was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced First Baptist earlier this season, when they won 49-43.

Caleb Lindsay was his usual excellent self, on his way to 25 points in addition to six boards and four steals for First Baptist. Lindsay's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was Jon Anaya, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Chisago Lakes Baptist dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for First Baptist, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Chisago Lakes Baptist nor First Baptist have any future games scheduled.
