Basketball Recap: Green Mountain Takes a Loss

Green Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-26 heartbreaker at the hands of the Twin Valley Wildcats. The game marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Green Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Twin Valley, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Green Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-18 win against Woodstock on the 23rd. Twin Valley has also already played their next match (against Long Trail), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
