Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Reed-Custer). They enjoyed a cozy 76-61 victory over the Lisle Lions on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Comets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Reed-Custer's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-13. As for Lisle, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Reed-Custer will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilmington at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lisle, they will venture away from home to square off against Westminster Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lisle is facing Westminster Christian at the right time seeing as Westminster Christian is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
