Basketball Recap: Wisconsin Lutheran's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wisconsin Lutheran waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Brown Deer Falcons 72-55. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2018.

When it comes to explaining why Brown Deer lost, don't look at Ameerah Grant. Despite the final result, she posted 35 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. That was a full 63.6% of Brown Deer's points, marking the 22nd time in a row Grant has put up more than a third of the team's points. Teriana Higgins was another key player, putting up 11 points and four steals.

Wisconsin Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Brown Deer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.
