With a playoff win on the line, Armwood rose to the challenge on Friday. They never let Viera get on the board and left with a 49-0 win. The result was nothing new for Armwood, who have now won ten contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Rhys Brush, who threw for 127 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Princeton Clark was Brush's top target, picking up 50 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Armwood proved: they limited Viera to a paltry 2.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Ronnie Baker for the heroic effort on defense: he. That's the most yards per carry they've posted since back in August.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Otezric Evans, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Armwood pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 36.7 points thus far. As for Viera, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Armwood will be playing at home against South Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Brush and Tre Kelly. Viera does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
