Alexander and Nixon are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Bulldogs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Mustangs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Alexander picked up another tournament win on Friday. They managed a 38-33 victory over United South. Those 38 points were actually the fewest the Bulldogs have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Nixon made off with a 51-50 win over Boerne-Champion.

Alexander's record is now 7-1. As for Nixon, their record now sits at 10-7.

Alexander didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Nixon when the teams last played back in November, but they still walked away with a 78-72 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
