Volleyball Game Preview: Columbia River Rapids vs. Ellensburg Bulldogs

The Columbia River Rapids will square off against the Ellensburg Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Columbia River is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 15 games.

Columbia River is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Selah.

The victory didn't come easy: Selah scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Ellensburg made easy work of Archbishop Murphy on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Ellensburg's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Columbia River, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.

Columbia River skirted past Ellensburg 3-2 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Will the Rapids repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
