Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pueblo Central). They came out on top against the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs by a score of 54-41 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Pueblo Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rosalia Martinez, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alliana Martinez, who put up 11 points.

Jailee Schwab and Avery Vigil certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Schwab scored 16 points, while Vigil had nine points and five boards.

Pueblo Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Pueblo Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Pueblo Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 37-17 win against Pueblo South on the 7th. As for Pueblo Centennial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-24 loss against Pueblo East on the 7th.
