Recap: Moore Lions vs. Westmoore Jaguars
There's no place like home for the Moore Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They managed a 56-50 victory over Westmoore on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Moore also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grant Loper, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds. Gavin Loper was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 3 steals.
Moore's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Westmoore, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore will take on Capitol Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westmoore, they will be playing at home against Lawton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Lawton is ranked 162nd, while Westmoore is ranked 159th).
