Basketball Recap: Stephen-Argyle Central Comes Up Short

Stephen-Argyle Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons. The Storm were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in March.

Stephen-Argyle Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fertile-Beltrami, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stephen-Argyle Central will take on Kittson Central in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fertile-Beltrami, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lake Park-Audubon at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
