Basketball Recap: Bush Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

Bush had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 43-28 win over the Granite Falls Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Blazers: when they faced off against the Tigers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 60-44 defeat.

Bush pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.5 points per game. As for Granite Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Coincidentally, Bush and Granite Falls will both be playing South Whidbey the next time they take the court. Granite Falls will head out to face South Whidbey at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Bush will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
