Basketball Recap: Eastside Lions vs. Littlerock Lobos
The Eastside Lions lost to the Littlerock Lobos back in December of 2023, but the Eastside Lions didn't allow the Littlerock Lobos the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Eastside snuck past the Lobos with a 55-50 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Eastside.
Eastside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaden Carter, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Carter is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyron Scott, who scored 17 points.
Eastside's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-17. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Littlerock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.
Eastside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Littlerock will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
