Baseball Recap: Union Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union). They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Randolph Southern Rebels on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Rebels on Saturday, they had to take a 17-5 loss.

Union's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Randolph Southern, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cloverdale at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Randolph Southern, they will challenge Monroe Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
