It was a good run, but Lyons unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 74-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wayne Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (55), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Lyons' defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3. As for Wayne, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyons will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Geneva at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Wayne, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Waterloo at 7:00 p.m.
