Southern Nash won the last time they faced Nash Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Firebirds walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Firebirds.

While Southern Nash might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Nash Central scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 24-26, 25-20, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Nash Central still got an impressive performance from Bryleigh Posey, who had 20 digs and six aces.

Southern Nash's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Nash Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Nash Central will head out on the road to challenge Northern Nash at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Southern Nash will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' contest: after the Bulldogs face off against Rocky Mount, they'll take on Southern Nash again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
