Southern Nash won the last time they faced Nash Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Firebirds came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Firebirds.

The win didn't come easy: Nash Central scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 26-24, 24-26, 25-20, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Nash Central lost, don't look at Bryleigh Posey. Despite the final result, she had six aces.

Southern Nash has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Nash Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Nash Central will take on Northern Nash at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Southern Nash will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' game: after the Bulldogs face off against Rocky Mount, they'll take on Southern Nash again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
