It was fun while it lasted, but Cibola's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Tuesday. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carl Hayden Community Falcons. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Evan Arrizon and Marvin Carrillo scored all three of Cibola's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cibola fell to 4-1. As for Carl Hayden Community, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cibola will take on Williams Field in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cibola is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Carl Hayden Community, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Buckeye at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
