Basketball Recap: Berea Takes a Loss

Berea lost against Frederick Douglass back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Berea Pirates had to suffer through an 88-13 loss at the hands of the Frederick Douglass Broncos. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Broncos are ranked 11th).

Berea's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Frederick Douglass, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Berea nor Frederick Douglass have any future games scheduled.
