Basketball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 65-49 to the Trout Lake Mustangs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Buckaroos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Trout Lake, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Paul will take on Echo in a tournament on Thursday. As for Trout Lake, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pilot Rock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
