St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against St. Genevieve, but they still couldn't quite topple them. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy put the hurt on St. Genevieve with a sharp 18-10 win on Tuesday. Considering the Warriors have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Julissa Perez, who scored five runs and stole two bases while going 5-for-6. Another player making a difference was Brianna Cibrian, who went 4-for-6 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Genevieve only posted an OBP of .500.

The victory made it two in a row for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-3.
