Softball Recap: Newberry Takes a Loss

Newberry's last matchup with Rudyard could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Indians came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 20-5. The Indians have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Newberry's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Rudyard, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Newberry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-2 defeat against St. Ignace on the 7th. As for Rudyard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 18-3 win against Manistique on the 7th.
