Softball Recap: Bethlehem Christian Academy Knights vs. Gatewood Gators        
        
		
                                                         Bethlehem Christian Academy's game  last Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They skirted past the Gatewood Gators  8-6. With that  win, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 6.5  runs per game.
 Bethlehem Christian Academy got a great performance from  Audryanna Torres as she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit over six innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, Bethlehem Christian Academy let  Ashlynn Shafer and  Rockie Sapp loose on the outfield. Shafer  scored two  runs while going 3-for-5, while  Sapp  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. Sapp also  hit a  double, marking her first of the season.  Titan Sapp was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 Bethlehem Christian Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 The  victory  got Bethlehem Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Gatewood, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with that  loss, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Bethlehem Christian Academy will host The King's Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Bethlehem Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5  runs per game  this season. As for Gatewood, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Edmund Burke Academy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
