Modoc barely beat Central Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Braves were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons on Thursday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Braves this season.

Modoc was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-21.

Katie Erquiaga paced Modoc's offense, picking up nine kills. Erquiaga got some help from Abigail Depaul and her 29 assists. Depaul was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Modoc pushed their record up to 7-7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Central Valley, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Coming up, Modoc will take on Enterprise at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lassen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
