Baseball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Greenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rib Lake Redmen, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly ten runs.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Rib Lake, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Coming up, Greenwood will look to defend their home field on Friday against Marathon at 5:00 p.m. As for Rib Lake, they will head out to face off against Phillips at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Loggers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.33 runs per game on average), something the Redmen will no doubt try to take advantage of.
