Softball Preview: Loving Falcons vs. Jal Panthers
Loving is 10-0 against Jal since April of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Loving Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jal Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Loving will be looking to keep their 14-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
In what's become a running theme this season, Loving gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They never let Eunice onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory.
Elisha Martinez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, a triple, and a stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to triples, as she's now hit at least one in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Karyn Montoya, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Jal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 14-9 to Eunice.
Loving's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Jal, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
