Baseball Recap: Odyssey Institute Comes Up Short

Odyssey Institute fell victim to Yuma Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 21-0 to the Shamrocks. The Minotaur have struggled against the Shamrocks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Odyssey Institute saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Bennett, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Odyssey Institute now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Yuma Catholic, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Odyssey Institute will challenge Chino Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Yuma Catholic, they will take on Tonopah Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Tonopah Valley will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Yuma Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
