Soccer Game Preview: Lake Worth vs. Forest Hill

Lake Worth hasn't had much luck against Forest Hill recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lake Worth Trojans will venture away from home to challenge the Forest Hill Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Lake Worth will be strutting in after a win while Forest Hill will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, it was close, but Lake Worth sidestepped Atlantic for a 2-1 victory.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Forest Hill was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Oxbridge Academy, falling 3-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Falcons couldn't quite close it out.

Forest Hill has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5-1 record this season. As for Lake Worth, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7-1.

Lake Worth might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Forest Hill in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Can Lake Worth avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
