Volleyball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Columbia lost against Middleton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Vikings, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7, 25-18.

Alera Gibson paced Columbia's offense, picking up two kills. Gibson got some help from Allison Pruett and her three assists. Camilla Bengoa controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Columbia has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Middleton, they pushed their record up to 19-9 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Columbia is set to take on their familiar foe Nampa at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Middleton will square off against rival Bishop Kelly at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
