Basketball Recap: Itawamba Agricultural Takes Down Northeast Lauderdale in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Itawamba Agricultural rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They beat the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 48-42. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-42 on Tuesday.

Itawamba Agricultural is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Northeast Lauderdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-10.

Looking ahead, Itawamba Agricultural will face off against South Pontotoc at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Pontotoc will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Itawamba Agricultural surely won't give up without a fight. Northeast Lauderdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
