Baseball Recap: Red River Comes Up Short

Red River suffered their biggest defeat since February 25th on Monday. They came up short against the Byrd Yellow Jackets, falling 15-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Red River saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Dickey, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Red River's record now sits at 13-6-1. As for Byrd, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-13-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Byrd, they will welcome Huntington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
