Wyalusing Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Athens Wildcats, falling 18-4. One positive for the Rams, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Wyalusing Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Treanna Nickeson, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Wyalusing Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Athens, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Wyalusing Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-5 win against Blue Ridge on the 29th. As for Athens, they will take on Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
