            Volleyball Recap: Unity Christian Lions vs. Darlington Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            It was a proper cat-fight when Unity Christian took on Darlington on Saturday. The Lions took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
 Claira Kight paced Unity Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Kight got some help from  Ella Claire Goodwin and her five assists. Goodwin also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Jersey Carolton, racking up two apiece.
 Darlington can attribute much of their success to  Ruthie Brinson, who  had 12  assists and seven  kills. Those  12 assists gave  Brinson a new career-high.
Unity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Darlington, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
 Unity Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-1  victory against Oakwood Christian on the 11th. As for Darlington, they have also already played their next game,  a  2-0  win against Pepperell on the 9th.
