Antlers is 9-1 against Wilburton since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bearcats will look to defend their home field against the Diggers at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.
Antlers is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 41-6 win over Morris. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bearcats considering their eight-point performance the matchup before.

Ben Copeland continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 206 yards and four TDs on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns. They were just one part of a punishing run game: Antlers was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 333 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Antlers didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Chase Masters and Kyzer Mullins.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wilburton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed past Spiro to the tune of 41-6 on Friday. That looming 41-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Diggers yet this season.
Antlers better keep an eye on Jason Wilkett. He was instrumental in Wilburton's win, rushing for 235 yards and four scores while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. Wilkett also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles.
One reason for the win was Wilburton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece.
Wilburton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average over those games. As for Antlers, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.
Thursday's contest might be decided on the ground. Antlers has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 207 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Wilburton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 233.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Antlers beat Wilburton 28-18 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Bearcats repeat their success, or do the Diggers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
