Basketball Recap: Coleman Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sacred Heart Academy, Coleman was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Breckenridge Huskies out 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Comets have posted since February 22, 2024.

Coleman's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-7. As for Breckenridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coleman will square off against Montabella at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Breckenridge, they are taking a road trip to challenge Carson City-Crystal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Breckenridge has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-3 during that stretch of close contests.
