Basketball Recap: Plainview Takes a Loss

Plainview lost against South Beauregard back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Plainview Hornets fell 58-50 to the South Beauregard Knights.

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for South Beauregard, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plainview will head out to square off against Washington-Marion at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Plainview is facing Washington-Marion at the right time seeing as Washington-Marion is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for South Beauregard, they will take on Iowa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Iowa knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully South Beauregard likes a good challenge.
