Volleyball Recap: North Brunswick Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Brunswick lost against Topsail back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Scorpions lost 3-0 to the Pirates. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-10.

Topsail can attribute much of their success to Hannah Gates, who had five digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave Gates a new career-high in assists (13).

North Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Topsail, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Brunswick is set to take on their familiar foe West Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Topsail will face off against rival Laney at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
