Independence can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They and the Del Oro Suns finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The result was nothing new for the Falcons as the team haven't won a game since December 13, 2024.

With that draw, Independence's record moves to 3-6-1. As for Del Oro, they moved theirs to 3-2-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Tehachapi the next time they take the pitch. Independence will head out to face Tehachapi at 5:20 p.m. on Thursday, while Del Oro will head out to face them at 5:20 p.m. on Friday.
