Volleyball Recap: Emma Garrett Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Tampa Catholic

Tampa Catholic came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Clearwater Central Catholic, but Megan Christian wouldn't allow it. The Marauders came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Christian, who had 35 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last three times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 22-25, 25-17.

Those 11 digs gave Garrett a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Wallace, who had 14 assists and nine digs.

Clearwater Central Catholic's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-10. As for Tampa Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
