Softball Game Preview: Indian Hill Braves vs. Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS

Indian Hill hasn't had much luck against Madeira recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Braves will head out on the road to square off against the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS at 5:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Madeira will be up against a hot Indian Hill team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Braves blew past Wyoming 17-7 on Wednesday. Considering the Braves have won five matchups by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Madeira, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against Finneytown on Wednesday as they made off with a 15-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Indian Hill's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.7 runs over those games. As for Madeira, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Indian Hill skirted past Madeira 10-8 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
