Community Christian entered their tilt with Howard on Monday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Howard Eagles 62-60. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 75-58 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Community Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Beamon, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 boards. Briceson Martin was another key player, going 6 for 15 en route to 18 points and three steals.

Community Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive matches.

Community Christian pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for Howard, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Community Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-73 defeat against Faith Christian Academy on the 4th. Howard has also already played their next game (against Capitol Encore Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
