Basketball Recap: Spring Grove Comes Up Short

Spring Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 92-62 loss at the hands of the Central York Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while the Panthers are ranked ninth).

Spring Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Central York, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Spring Grove will take on York Suburban at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. As for Central York, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-70 win against Imhotep Charter on the 18th.
