Baseball Recap: Dixon Comes Up Short

Dixon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Sutter Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Monday.

Dixon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kai Mulitsch-Reynolds, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Dixon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14-1. As for Sutter, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

While Dixon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
