Riverside-Durham is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. The game between them and Chapel Hill didn't end well, with Riverside-Durham falling 48-29. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Jordan entered their tilt with East Chapel Hill on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victor by a 73-48 margin over the Wildcats. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Riverside-Durham better keep an eye on Rivers Knight. He was instrumental in Jordan's win, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Knight continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Hill, who went 6 of 15 en route to 16 points along with five boards and three steals.

Jordan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Riverside-Durham's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
