Duchesne snaps four-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Duchesne Eagles vs. Tabiona Tigers

The Duchesne Eagles were the 47-44 winner over the Tabiona Tigers when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Duchesne fell to Tabiona 53-48.

Chance Lazenby continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tabiona, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks. Those five blocks set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Rhoades, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Duchesne's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-4. As for Tabiona, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Duchesne will be home for the holidays to greet South Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Sevier is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Tabiona, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome American Prep WV at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (American Prep WV is ranked 49th, while Tabiona is ranked 44th).
