Baseball Recap: Craig County Comes Up Short

Craig County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-0 to the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs. The Rockets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Craig County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaycob Wolfe, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Craig County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eastern Montgomery, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Craig County is set to square off against their familiar foe Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eastern Montgomery will take on rival Bath County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
