Osceola put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Dunedin Falcons as the Osceola Warriors made off with a 10-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The result came thanks to Aliyah Lai's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cassidy Allen was a standout: she scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Theresa Diez, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Osceola was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Osceola pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Dunedin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Coming up, Osceola will be taking part in a tournament against Hagerty at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Hagerty's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Osceola's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dunedin, they will head out to challenge Clearwater Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Clearwater Central Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.
