West Craven had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.3 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 57-35 margin over the New Bern Bears. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

West Craven's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Felisha Wilson, who posted 29 points and eight boards. Wilson's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Shalawn Yates was another key player, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten boards.

West Craven smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

West Craven pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for New Bern, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

West Craven will venture away from home to challenge North Pitt at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Bern, they will welcome D.H. Conley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
