Shelbyville and Alba-Golden squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Shelbyville had to settle for second. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-6), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Kylie Snell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Shelbyville's defeat dropped their record down to 22-11. As for Alba-Golden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

While Shelbyville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
