Baseball Recap: Parker-Tarrant Homeschool Snags Tenth Win in Last 12 Games

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool hadn't done well against Christian Life Preparatory recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool put the hurt on Christian Life Preparatory with a sharp 10-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Paul Stedifor was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Keagan Nevarez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. Christian Life Preparatory is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool will head out to square off against Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Christian Life Preparatory, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Abilene Christian at 6:30 p.m. on April 14.
